It is important to be aware of unusual changes in your body whilst exercising, as it is sometimes difficult to distinguish sweating from exhaustion to that from low blood glucose, also known as hypoglycemia. You should look out for these signs: Sweating Tremors Drowsiness Headache Confusion, and others Upon realization, you should quickly have a carbohydrate-based snack and rest. The key to preventing hypoglycemia during exercise is to have a meal or a snack before, during, and after physical activity.
